This policy explains what personal information Higher Thoughts (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you use the Zeno’ and Zeno’ Fleet websites, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. Higher Thoughts is a software studio based in the United Kingdom, and is the data controller for the information described below. We handle your data in line with UK data protection law — the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run our waitlist and respond to enquiries.

Information you give us:

• Waitlist — when you request an invite to Zeno’, your email address.
• Fleet demo — when you request a Zeno’ Fleet demo, your company name, fleet size and work email address.

Information collected automatically:

• When you submit a form, we record basic technical detail such as your browser’s user-agent string and the time of the request, to help us detect and prevent abuse.
• Our web server keeps standard access logs, which may include IP addresses, to keep the site secure and running.

We do not use cookies, advertising, or third-party analytics on this website.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• add you to the waitlist and email you when your invite is ready;
• respond to and arrange Zeno’ Fleet demos;
• send the confirmation and follow-up emails related to your request;
• keep the website secure and working properly.

Our legal bases are your consent (which you give by submitting a form) and our legitimate interests in responding to your enquiry, operating our waitlist and protecting the site. Where you ask us about Zeno’ Fleet, we also process your details to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s marketing. We rely on a small number of trusted service providers (“processors”) who handle data on our behalf under contract:

• Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) — to deliver our confirmation and notification emails. Email is processed in AWS’s Europe (Stockholm) region.
• Our hosting provider — which runs the server the website and database sit on.

We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.

Where your data is held

Your information is stored on servers in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area (EEA), and the email service we use processes data within the EEA. We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK/EEA. If that ever changes, we’ll make sure appropriate safeguards are in place first.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and while you remain on the list, and then remove them when they’re no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your rights below).

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that’s inaccurate;
• ask us to delete your information;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• ask us to transfer your information to another provider (data portability);
• withdraw your consent at any time.

Marketing and unsubscribing

We’ll only email you about the thing you signed up for — your waitlist invite or your demo request. You can ask us to stop at any time by emailing info@higher-thoughts.co.uk.

Children

Zeno’ is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
